The tree branches above the red-checkered tablecloths of this beer garden were filled of floating full moons. They reflected on the water of the Schlachtensee after our swim. Berliners can be thankful for lakes and plants right in the city borders that don’t feel at all urban. Still, we can’t seem to resist augmenting reality a bit…
What a lovely spot. I’m writing from heat-wave NYC, and your photo makes me feel just a little cooler. Nice.
I’m glad I could help. We are having Berlin’s cool Germanic version of a heat wave meaning only that it’s been in the high 70s, low 80s, without a drop of rain, for several weeks. Nothing like a NYC heat wave but it does feel like a special event! Lots of summers here are mostly cool and rainy. Hope you eat lots of Popsicles and gazpacho and enjoy the heat!
Is this what life is like on planet Jupiter with 63 moons?
Prolly! ;)
