The shopping cart as mobile guerrilla gardening planter, which I first saw in Basel, Switzerland last year, has appeared in Berlin-Neukölln.

This rules! a mobile garden. It makes me want to create some in Chicago.
Oh, you should! Check out the link to the planters in Basel, Switzerland – I think it’s clearer how it is done, lining the cart in some sort of gardening tarp or felt.
Saw the same type of planter last fall in Prenzlauerberg. So nice!
Hi Apna, thanks for the report. This was the first one I’d seen in Berlin so it’s interesting for me to find out it’s not the only one.
Yeah I was pretty curious about it as well…I remember there was a board inside with “Neukölln written on it, so perhaps the original is the one you spotted.
Ooh, I wonder if that could be. How did it wander to from Neukölln to Pberg and back? Well, it does have wheels…!
