Spotted this scrappy little fellow intrepidly growing in the median strip of Karl-Marx-Allee, surrounded by packed dirt, rubble and six lanes of traffic. Go, little daffodil, go!

I believe that is a daffodil, not a dandelion.
Hi Jodie, thanks so much; I’ve fixed the title. Funny thing is, I remember noticing the same mistake on another blog. I think we all know the difference between the two flowers but something about the names makes them easy to mix up.
